Manchester United have 'reactivated' their interest in a summer move for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde, according to reports. As Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's search for a new centre-back continues, United could turn to the long-standing Manchester City target.

According to Seville-based outlet La Colina de Nervion via Sport Witness, United have 'reactivated' their interest and 'do not forget' Kounde.
Man City also hold an interest in the 22-year-old, who has been in the two Manchester clubs' sights for 'the longest time.'
La Colina de Nervion do report, though, that United aren't willing to meet Monchi's £68m (€80m) valuation of Kounde.
After already committing £73m on Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho, the Premier League giants will likely be careful with their spending for the remainder of the transfer window.

Kounde and Varane have been two of three centre-backs in the middle of links with a move to Old Trafford ahead of the 2021/22 season.
The other is Villarreal's Pau Torres, who is available for a fee likely in between Kounde and Varane's asking prices.
After impressing in the Europa League final, speculation about a big move heated up, and the La Liga club reportedly want £55.6m (€65m) to let him leave.
United are most likely going to sign a centre-back to partner Harry Maguire this summer.
Whoever that signing will be remains to be seen, though, as links to Kounde refuse to go away.
