Man Utd: The first six fixtures of the new Premier League season
Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has sensationally made himself available to Barcelona ahead of a possible switch to the La Liga side, according to reports.
Van de Beek has struggled to earn a place in Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans since his £35million move from Ajax last summer and is apparently keen to seek regular football elsewhere.
Solskjaer handed the 24-year-old just four Premier League starts.
Two of those came during United’s final five matches – in the 2-1 defeat against Leicester City and in the 2-1 final-day victory over Fulham.
Van de Beek made played in just half of his side’s top-flight fixtures and often found the likes of Scott McTominay, Fred and Paul Pogba ahead of him in the midfield pecking order.

The report claims that the deal could only go ahead as a loan move.
Barca finished third in La Liga last season, their lowest finish since 2008.
Meanwhile, United’s pursuit of Jadon Sancho continues.
It is widely believed that Dortmund want around £75m for the winger, who would complete United’s devastating front four.

A quartet of Sancho, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and one of Edinson Cavani, Mason Greenwood or Anthony Martial would allow Solskjaer to better challenge Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea for the Premier League title.
However, the hefty price tag for Sancho would take up a huge chunk of united’s transfer budget.
Solskjaer has demanded at least two or three signings, with a centre-back partner for Harry Maguire believed to be another priority.
“We're planning as we normally do, that's an ongoing process,” the 47-year-old said last month.
"We're looking at the squad and I hope we're going to strengthen with two or three players we definitely need to challenge higher up in the table.
“We're still too far behind to think it's just going to come by itself.
"We've had a few players on loan that might come back in. There is interest in a few others going out. You want to come out of the transfer window strengthened.
“It's difficult to say, I can't see too many outgoings.”
