Man Utd: Fans protest against Glazers outside Old Trafford
Manchester United executive co-chairman Joel Glazer has promised Red Devils supporters that funds will be made available for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this summer as Jadon Sancho looks set to join. The Glazers came under fire from fans after news broke of their involvement in the ill-fated European Super League plans.

“We always took the approach that we should stay in the background. Let the manager, the players, the people at Old Trafford, be the ones out in front, communicating and talking,” he said.
“But in retrospect, that was not the right approach and there's a middle ground. Our silence wrongly created the impression that we don't care, that we aren't football fans, that we only care about our commercial interests and money. And I can assure you, nothing could be further from the truth.”
Attention soon turned to his plans for taking the club forward in trying to lead them back to the top of English football.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already openly admitted that he wants at least two new signings this summer to help bolster his squad.
A deal to sign Sancho appears to be close after refusing to meet Borussia Dortmund's valuation last summer and it's been reported that an agreement could be reached this week.
Joel Glazer insists he is committed to being "competitive" in the transfer market, but also wants a push for academy players to break into the first team.
“The goal is to win every competition... we want to play a style of football that our supporters can be proud of," he said.
