Chelsea: Tuchel opens up on 'edge' ahead of UCL final
Thomas Tuchel may be looking to make some additions to his Chelsea squad in the summer transfer window with attacking players seen as a priority. The Blues have one final game of the season when they take on Manchester City in the Champions League final on Saturday.
All focus for Tuchel will be on securing his first trophy as Chelsea boss and the club's second Champions League win in nine years.
But there will also be some at Chelsea who will be looking at the upcoming transfer market.
Chelsea were the Premier League's biggest spenders last summer with close to £250million being spent on the likes of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Ben Chilwell.
They are once again being linked with big-money signings this time around with the likes of Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland touted as potential targets.
And it is claimed that he is 'open to offers' on his future, leaving the door for Chelsea to potentially swoop in.
Hofmann may not boast the same record as someone like Sancho, but he would be available for considerably less.
The report states that a bid of £13m would be enough to tempt Monchengladbach into selling.
The versatile attacker can play on both wingers as well as through the middle and even in midfield.
