Earlier in the day, Romano tweeted that Wijnaldum's move to Barca is almost complete.
He wrote: "Gini Wijnaldum is set to join Barcelona as a free agent until June 2024 - there’s nothing agreed with FC Bayern, he wants to sign for Barça. Last details and... here we go soon!"
All four players see their contracts at their respective clubs expire this summer.
Aguero said farewell to the City fans on Sunday following the 5-0 win over Everton at the Etihad.
