With Manchester United preparing the ground to make a move for Harry Kane, a reason other than the striker’s footballing talent has emerged as a reason for the Red Devils to complete a deal. Kane is reportedly ready to leave Tottenham this summer after going another season without silverware.

While Kane’s goalscoring talents will undoubtedly fire the Red Devils to Premier League title-winning contention, he also brings value off the pitch.
It is stated that the wave of fan protests that has been directed at United’s owners the Glazers has brought “increased value” to a successful deal for Kane.
The completion of a deal for the striker is believed to be eyed by the Americans as a potential way to help quell the protests.
Supporters have long been unhappy by the Glazers’ ownership of the club, with accusations that they have not fully invested in the team.

Further anger was provoked by the recent European Super League scandal, in which the Glazers played a leading role.
Joel Glazer was named as a vice-chairman of the project, which fell apart just 48 hours after being announced after widespread condemnation.
The Super League scandal has led to a new wave of protests, with some fans breaking into Old Trafford to force the postponement of the Red Devils’ clash with Liverpool.
A new “#NotAPennyMore” campaign has also targeted United’s commercial partners, with United now eyeing a move for Kane as a potential way to calm tensions.
