Chelsea: Tuchel says he wouldn't want fight with 'leaders'
Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell has rubbished suggestions there has been a "shift in mentality" since Thomas Tuchel took over from Frank Lampard back in January. Lampard was sacked as Blues boss after a poor run of results, with Chelsea winning just two of his last eight Premier League games in charge.
Since Tuchel's appointment, Chelsea have lost just one of their last 17 fixtures in all competitions and they are hoping to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
The Blues beat Porto 2-0 in the first leg of their quarter-final clash thanks to goals from Mason Mount and Chilwell.
Speaking ahead of the second leg, Chilwell was asked if there had been a change in mentality at the club since Tuchel had replaced Lampard and the England international replied: "I wouldn’t say a shift in mentality because under the manager before it was all about winning as well.
"Nothing has changed there. It is still the same. We hopefully want to win a trophy or two this season.

"I think maybe older players, more experienced players are playing at the moment.
"That is down to training and whenever anyone is asked to come into the team they give 100 percent and the people that aren’t playing are also very important and pushing everyone forward, training hard and very supportive, which is very important and could be very important for the next few months coming up."
Chilwell was also asked if he felt he was a better player under Tuchel and the left-back explained that he felt he was a "different player".
"I am not sure," he replied. "I am always trying to improve every day.

Chilwell went on to explain that it is important that Chelsea do not become "complacent" against Porto because they beat them in the first leg.
"If you look at the first leg, we knew going into that game that it was going to be very physical game," he added.
"They are a very strong outfit with a lot of technically gifted players, but I think the manager touched on the fact they are a very proud team as well and it is the semi-finals of the Champions League up for grabs. It is definitely not over.
"We are not going to go into tomorrow complacent because we know the job is only half done. We know it is important we go into the game with the same mentality as we did for the first game."
