Tottenham ran out 3-0 winners against Leeds with Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min and Toby Alderweireld all on target. Jose Mourinho’s side now sit just four points behind Liverpool and Manchester United at the top of the Premier League table. So Express Sport will now take a look at four things we learned from the contest.
Tottenham went into the match against Leeds looking for a return to winning ways after failing to beat Wolves, Leicester, Liverpool and Crystal Palace.
And, inevitably, it was Kane and Son who got them going.
Before Alderweireld’s goal, the duo had provided 79 per cent of Tottenham’s goals in the top flight this term.
And it was no surprise to see the pair back to their best, linking up with each other throughout the contest.
Nine of Son’s 12 league goals have come via Kane assisting and, without them, Mourinho’s side would likely not be as high in the table.
