Liverpool are reportedly constantly reviewing Mohamed Salah's future at the club following his controversial transfer comments last week. Salah raised eyebrows on Merseyside earlier this month when he left the door open to a possible exit from Anfield.
The Egyptian also expressed his frustration at not being named captain in the Champions League clash against Midtjylland.
Jurgen Klopp has since downplayed Salah's comments regarding a move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona.
“When Mo answered the question it was that these clubs might be interested and he didn’t rule out that," Klopp said.
"If you ask any player in the world who is not playing for Barcelona or Real Madrid, ‘Can he imagine playing here one day?’ and he would say, ‘No. Spain is not for me.’ Why should he say that?”

And Klopp even joked that the only reason any member of his squad would want to leave Liverpool to move to Spain is because of the "weather".
“What other reason could be there? This is one of the biggest clubs in the world, we pay good money, maybe not the most in the world but we pay good, and we have a sensational stadium with outstanding supporters and we have a fanbase all around the world.
“Our colours are red which is the nicest colour anyway. You cannot force people to stay. We never did by the way.
"We make changes and bring players in and if a player wants to go then we cannot, probably hold him back. It’s just that I would not understand why somebody would want to go."
Salah currently has two-and-a-half years left on his current deal and The Times claim he is looking for an extension on his contract.
And the report states that Liverpool are continuing to monitor Salah's future at the club, suggesting a new deal could be on the table in the near future.
Salah will turn 29 years of age next summer and is still very much in his prime with 13 league goals in as many matches.
Liverpool will be reluctant to lose a player of Salah's calibre if his intention is to leave for Real or Barcelona in the near future.
