Transfer update: Latest on Pogba, Neymar and Sanches
Paul Pogba is set to leave Manchester United, according to Fabrizio Romano. But not until next summer. The club are set to finally sanction the Frenchman's exit following a plea from super-agent Mino Raiola earlier this month.
Things have not gone to play for the World Cup winner at Old Trafford in recent times due to an abundance of different problems.
Pogba has struggled with a persistent ankle problem but has failed to earn a regular place in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's starting XI since returning from injury.
Back in October, United triggered a one-year extension in Pogba's contract with his current deal now set to run until 2022.
Last week, Raiola claimed his client was unhappy at the club and urged the United board to let him leave when the transfer window reopens.

“There’s no use ignoring it. It’s better to speak honestly, look to the future and not waste time trying to blame people: Paul is unhappy at Manchester United, he can no longer express himself as he wants to or in the way that’s expected of him.
“He needs to change team, he needs a change of scene. He has a contract that expires in a year and a half’s time, in the summer of 2022, but I think the best solution would be for him to leave in the next transfer window.
“Otherwise the club from Old Trafford, with whom he has a good relationship, know very well that they risk losing him on a free transfer, considering that right now he does not want to extend his deal.
“If people don’t get that, they know very little about football. In any case, they’ll all blame me if Paul leaves next summer.”
