Ajax star Nicolas Tagliafico demonstrates talent on pitch
Manchester City want to sign Ajax star Nicolas Tagliafico in the January transfer window, according to reports. City were linked with Argentina international Tagliafico during the summer. Manager Pep Guardiola wants to strengthen on the left side of defence and was also linked with Alex Telles late in the recently-closed window.
But the former Barcelona boss is clearly not happy with the options available to him.
Tagliafico, whose contract at Ajax expires in the summer of 2022, has made 102 appearances for the Dutch club since his arrival from Independiente in 2018.

“I won many trophies at FC Porto and I want to continue that at United. The manager has a clear plan and direction for this team and I can’t wait to pull on the famous shirt.”
Telles is set to provide competition to Luke Shaw for the left-back spot.
And manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Telles can add true quality to his squad.
