Jose Mourinho set to deal Man Utd blow with surprise Heung-min Son decision
Jose Mourinho returns to an empty Old Trafford tomorrow as Tottenham travel to Manchester United in the Premier League.
Premier League: Man United vs Tottenham match preview
Heung-min Son is in line for a surprise start for Tottenham tomorrow at Manchester United, just a week after Jose Mourinho ruled him out for a while with a hamstring injury. Son was forced off at half-time in the controversial 1-1 draw with Newcastle in north London but now he could return to action sooner than expected.
Son was razor-sharp against the Magpies, hitting the woodwork twice in the opening 45 minutes.
Spurs lost their rhythm when he left the field and Callum Wilson dispatched a stoppage-time penalty to earn a point for the visitors.
The week before, Son ran riot at Southampton and hit four in a 5-2 win on the south coast.
After the South Korean was forced off six days ago, Mourinho hinted that the winger could be set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

When asked if the substitution was planned or an injury, Mourinho said: "Injured."
He was then asked whether he will be out for a long time, to which he bluntly responded: "Yes."
According to The Guardian, Son is now in line to start on the left side of Tottenham's front three.
It would be a major boost for Mourinho as he prepares to take his Spurs side back to his former stomping ground.

He refused to confirm whether Son will be fit for the occasion during his press conference.
“I don’t want to lie to you and say he doesn’t play and Sunday he’s there," he said.
“At the same time I don’t want to say he plays and then he doesn’t. So let’s wait and see, in this moment, I honestly don’t know.”
Mourinho spent over two-and-a-half years in charge of United before he was dismissed in December 2018.

He has now defended his stint at the club and claimed he won everything he could during his time at the helm.
"I expected that, I never had problems in the club," he said of the supporters' reaction. "The fans, they know that I gave everything that I could.
"I won what was possible to win, I didn't win what was not possible to win. I gave everything, I gave my life to the club and my professionalism like I always do.
"Internally, lots of friends for life, lots of amazing people that I met in the club. I only have good feelings, feelings that I will have to forget in 90 minutes because for 90 minutes, they want to win, I want to win, that's football."
