Liverpool team news: Predicted lineup vs Chelsea - Klopp could drop two aces for Blues tie
Defending Premier League champions Liverpool will travel to Stamford Bridge this afternoon to take on title hopefuls Chelsea.
Chelsea vs Liverpool: Premier League match preview
One of the biggest fixtures of the Premier League season is upon us just two-game weeks into the new campaign. This afternoon, defending champions Liverpool will travel to the capital to take on big spenders Chelsea.
Football fans across the globe will have their eyes firmly fixed on Stamford Bridge to see if the Blues - who have spent upwards of £200million this summer - will be able to hand the Reds their first defeat of the season.
Frank Lampard's men came up short against the Merseysiders in the corresponding fixture last season, suffering a 2-1 defeat thanks to goals from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Roberto Firmino.
Given how competitive both matches between the teams were last season, as well as their respective spending sprees, this afternoon's game should be a thriller.
But how will Frank Lampard and Jurgen Klopp set out their teams?

Chelsea kicked off their Premier League campaign on Monday night with a comfortable 3-1 victory over Brighton.
Lampard was thrilled with his team's display at the Amex Stadium, although he could be tempted to ring in the changes given the magnitude of today's match.
Danish centre-back Andreas Christensen will likely make way for Germany international Antonio Rudiger due to his lack of big-game experience.
England international Ruben Loftus-Cheek is could join Christensen on the bench due to his poor display against the Seagulls, with Ross Barkley likely to come in for the 24-year-old.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, meanwhile, is likely to drop two stars that featured in the Reds' opening day thriller with Leeds, which they won 4-3.
Joe Gomez is likely to be benched be dropped following his uncharacteristic display against Marcelo Bielsa's side.
Cameroon international Joel Matip is likely to start alongside Virgil van Dijk.
Naby Keita is also set to be in the firing line following a lacklustre display against the Whites. Brazil international Fabinho will likely come in and replace the former RB Leipzig man.
It's unlikely Klopp will hand a debut from the off to new signing Thiago Alcantara, while Diogo Jota has not been registered in time to play.
At best, Thiago - who arrived at Anfield on Friday while Jota signed on Saturday - should feature on the bench.
