Man Utd: Jack Grealish 'would fit in well' at club says expert
Manchester United have reportedly downplayed the idea of signing Jack Grealish, now they have wrapped up a deal for Donny van de Beek. Even still a move for the Aston Villa captain is not entirely off the table.
Grealish capped a fine season in which he helped secure safety for his boyhood club with an England call-up on Monday.
He was initially left bitterly disappointed after failing to make the grade however, Marcus Rashford's decision to pull out left a vacancy for the 24-year-old, who is now part of the squad at St George's Park.
As it stands he looks set to stay at Villa for another season with the new Premier League season just around the corner.
Villa were only prepared to sell him should they receive an offer in the region of £80m.

Grealish can also play on the left side of the attack.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate to bolster his squad depth this season to close the gap on Liverpool and Manchester City.
United are now focused on signing a centre-back and right-forward.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims Van de Beek has already passed his United medical.

Holland boss Dwight Lodeweges also confirmed the deal was nearly over the line.
“No, I think it is almost done," he told reporters when asked if he considered omitting Van de Beek from his squad.
“I am certainly not going to send Donny home, because he would love to be here himself. That is also important.”
United open their Premier League campaign at home to Crystal Palace after the Premier League agreed to let them start their campaign a week later following their Europa League exploits in Germany.
