Man Utd: Pundits discuss Chris Smalling’s future after AS Roma
Manchester United have reportedly had their £23million asking price for Chris Smalling matched by Inter Milan. Smalling left United to join Roma on loan last summer after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made it clear he wouldn't be given regular first-team football.

The Red Devils have stood firm on wanting £18million, plus £5m in add-ons.
That has seemingly priced Roma out of a move, but it looks as though Smalling may still stay in Italy.
According to SportMediaset, Inter Milan are ready to pay the £23million to sign Smalling.
It is claimed Antonio Conte has been impressed by Smalling's stature at the back for Roma this past season and wants to bring in the experienced defender to his back line.
If Smalling does move to Inter, he would be the fourth United player to make the switch from Old Trafford to the San Siro in the last 12 months.
Both Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez joined last summer, with the latter recently making his loan move permanent.
Ashley Young then signed for Inter in January, where he went on to score four goals as well as providing four assists.
Conte though isn't short of options in central defence, with Milan Skriniar, Diego Godin, Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni all battling for places in the starting line-up.
