Bayer Leverkusen expect Kai Havertz to stay with the club for the remainder of their Europa League campaign before the attacker joins Chelsea.
Kai Havertz: Frank Lampard 'desperate' to sign player says expert
Kai Havertz is expected to remain with Bayer Leverkusen until the end of their Europa League campaign before moving to Chelsea. Leverkusen boss Peter Bosz believes the German international will see out the club's European fixtures, despite reports a transfer could be completed imminently.
Havertz has played a key role in Leverkusen's run to the Europa League Round of 16, scoring three goals in as many outings and also providing two assists.
The Bundesliga outfit are 3-1 up after the first leg of their tie against Rangers, with Havertz netting from the penalty spot while Charles Aranguiz and Leon Bailey were also on target at Ibrox in March.

The second leg is scheduled for August 6, with Leverkusen players having returned to training this week after a short break following the end of their domestic season.
Speaking as his side begin to get back up to speed ahead of the visit of Rangers to the BayArena, Bosz said: "Kai Havertz will be there right at the start of the training session.

“I am confident he will also be with us in the Europa League.”
The Leverkusen manager appears confident Havertz will hold off on a move to Chelsea until after the Europa League campaign has been completed.
The final is scheduled for August 21, meaning it could be a long wait before the Blues get their hands on their priority summer target if Leverkusen go all the way.
Chelsea have already agreed personal terms with Havertz so all that's left to do is finalise a price with their Bundesliga counterpart.

It has previously been reported that Leverkusen value their star man at €100million (£91m) while Chelsea see €70m (£63.8m) as a more accurate assessment.
But Sky Sports Germany claim that the Blues could be prepared to boost their offer when the two sides reportedly meet at the negotiating table next week.
It is suggested Chelsea want to get the deal done as soon as possible so club director Marina Granovskaia could go as high as €80m (£72.9m) with her opening bid.
Havertz has already stated his desire to leave Germany this summer, despite having a contract until 2022.
The 21-year-old is reportedly willing to move to a team that does not immediately provide Champions League football, as long as the project is heading in the right direction.
However, Chelsea only need a point against Wolves on Sunday to secure their place at the top table of European football next term, and such a result would surely strengthen their hand in the upcoming transfer talks.
Leverkusen finished fifth in the Bundesliga this season, missing out on Champions League qualification despite Havertz bagging 12 goals and providing six assists in the league.
