Kai Havertz: Frank Lampard 'desperate' to sign player says expert
Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly expecting Kai Havertz to play against Rangers in the Europa League with the club confident he has not played his last game for the club. The attacking midfielder has told chiefs he wants to quit this summer but Leverkusen are holding firm until they're satisfied with any offers for their star man.

According to Sky Sports, Leverkusen fully expect to name Havertz in the team to play the second-leg of their last 16 clash.
Things could of course change between now and then but Chelsea would have to up the ante if they're to get the deal over the line in the next fortnight.
For now, they remain focused on finishing their season with plenty still up for grabs for Frank Lampard and his players.
A point against Wolves on Sunday would be enough to secure a top-four finish before next weekend's FA Cup final.

Negotiations with Havertz are thought to be at an advanced stage meaning the club just need to find an agreement with Leverkusen.
Havertz's Germany team-mate Leroy Sane appeared to confirm his compatriot was heading to Stamford Bridge earlier today.
He said: "It‘s good for Chelsea, that they signed two German top talents with Werner and Havertz this summer."
Havertz is valued at around £90m by Leverkusen but Chelsea want to pay closer to £70m.

Jamie Carragher claims Roman Abramovich would be better off investing in a new goalkeeper, with Kepa Arrizabalaga currently holding the Blues back.
"Chelsea won’t go any further unless they change their goalkeeper," Carragher told Sky Sports.
"Going back to how important goalkeepers are, I look at this Chelsea team and there’s a lot I like about it, it does remind me in a lot of ways the position Jurgen Klopp was in a couple of years ago.
"He’s done as much as he can, yes Frank’s still in his early stages but those big signings can completely transform you as a team.
"I still think Chelsea need a defender, you see how many goals they’ve conceded. I think a lot of that is down to the goalkeeper being totally honest."
