Tottenham: Mourinho discusses ‘problems’ team faced on arrival
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho will make at least one new signing in the midfield area this summer, according to former Spurs star Jamie Redknapp. Sky Sports pundit Redknapp believes that is an area of the pitch Mourinho will be keen to strengthen the most. Spurs have been strongly linked with a move for former Southampton captain Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Redknapp is a fan of Giovani Lo Celso, who made his move from Real Betis permanent in January.
But, speaking ahead of the visit of Leicester City on Sunday, he reckons Mourinho will still not be satisfied with the midfielders he has at his disposal.
"I think we will probably actually see the best of [Lo Celso] next season," Redknapp said.
"He's been in and out of the team, he was injured when he first came, so it's not been easy.

"But they have a numerical advantage in there today [against Leicester] because they'll have [Harry] Winks, [Moussa] Sissoko and Lo Celso against [Youri] Tielemans and [Wilfred] Ndidi.
"So if Spurs can keep the ball in that area they will find they'll have some success.
"I do believe long term, I'm sure Jose looks at that midfield and thinks: 'I need someone else in there'.
"I'm sure they'll buy someone. They've not been that happy with [Tanguy] Ndombele, that's obvious so there will be players I'm sure coming to Tottenham in that midfield.
