Willian: Pundit discusses potential transfer to Arsenal
Willian's future remains unresolved at Chelsea but the Brazilian is keen to stay at Stamford Bridge, so long as the Blues meet his contract demands. The 31-year-old has claimed he is ready to sign a new deal tomorrow but must be given another three years at the club.
Willian is set to become a free agent this summer when his short-term contract extension at Chelsea expires.
A number of clubs including Tottenham, Arsenal and Inter Miami have been linked with a move for the Brazilian, but he has confirmed he would rather stay put.

"For the time being, I have had no concrete proposal. But rumours always arise.
"I’m waiting. My agent hasn’t given me any news yet. I’m waiting for his call.”
When asked if Chelsea were jealous of him being linked with other clubs, Willian laughed and said: “No, not for the time being. Chelsea aren’t jealous.
"They didn’t say anything. At least they showed no jealousy. They’re letting go!

“Just kidding. I already had a conversation with the club a few months ago, even before this stop.
"Chelsea only offer me two years and I asked for three. My goal in the next contract is to sign for three years. So I haven’t had a deal with Chelsea yet.
“This is what I asked the club for, three years of contract. If you give me that, I’ll get the pen and sign the contract tomorrow.”
Willian is out of contract as soon as the Premier League season concludes on July 26.

And the winger will be a big miss to Chelsea, based on his form since the end of lockdown.
Four goals and three assists in eight appearances across all competitions is an impressive return, with Frank Lampard having selected Willian to start in every single match.
His tally since joining the Blues in August 2013 now stands at 63 goals and 62 assists in 337 appearances in all competitions.
Willian has won the FA Cup, Europa League and two Premier League titles during his time at Stamford Bridge, including the 2016/17 crown under Antonio Conte.
However, the Chelsea ace admitted he had some issues with the Italian manager before he was replaced by Maurizio Sarri in 2018.
“Look, with all the managers I had, I learned," said Willian.
"We always learn, regardless of the situation. I already said a few times, I don’t like to keep repeating so as not to create controversy.
But I was champion with him, I learned some things from him, but I had difficulty with him… it was Antonio Conte. I believe other players too."
