Chelsea: Pundit sends warning over Kai Havertz transfer
Kai Havertz has decided whole-heartedly that he wants to move to Chelsea despite interest from many of Europe's biggest clubs. The 21-year-old has also told Bayer Leverkusen boss that he does not want to wait any longer before taking the next step in his career.
The likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Manchester United have been keeping tabs on Havertz.
However, those clubs will not be in a position to meet the midfielder's £90million price tag until next summer.
Waiting 12 months before jumping ship could open the door to more opportunities.
But German publication Kicker claim Havertz has made the firm decision to leave this summer, especially after Leverkusen failed to qualify for the Champions League.
The report adds that the Germany international has hit heart set on moving to Stamford Bridge after seeing the project the Blues have to offer.

Leverkusen have apparently struck an agreement with their star which will allow him to leave despite having two years left on his contract.
The only stipulation is that a suitable fee must be paid and they will not let Havertz go on the cheap.
Chelsea have already spent over £80m on Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner from Ajax and RB Leipzig, respectively.
Havertz is hoping to link up with his international team-mates Werner and Antonio Rudiger next season.
