Chelsea vs Man City: Guardiola praises Lampard ahead of clash
Frank Lampard has suggested Liverpool won the Premier League months ago and has praised the Reds for their performances this term. Speaking ahead of Chelsea's clash with reigning champions Manchester City, the Blues manager revealed how he didn't want a victory for his side to take anything away from the achievements of the Anfield-based outfit.
City needed to win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in order to keep the their Premier League title hopes alive, with anything less handing Liverpool the crown.
As for the Blues, Lampard's men were hunting three points to keep themselves in prime position to qualify for the Champions League.
And the Chelsea manager revealed that he didn't want tonight's result to take anything away from Liverpool, even if the Reds won the title without playing.
“I don’t mean to kill it tonight," Lampard told BT Sport before kick-off.

"That’s for them to celebrate whenever and for us to try and win the game ourselves.”
Liverpool hammered Crystal Palace 4-0 on Wednesday, stretching their lead at the top of the table to 23 points.
