Chelsea: Lampard says he is ‘excited’ to sign Werner
Timo Werner is in line to pocket an eye-watering salary as well as a huge sign-on bonus when he joins Chelsea, according to reports. The German international will move to Stamford Bridge this summer after the Blues agreed to pay his £53million release clause at RB Leipzig.

Details of Werner's lucrative contract have now been revealed in Germany, with Bild reporting the astronomical sums the new arrival is set to earn at Stamford Bridge.
The frontman is supposedly set to pocket a yearly salary of £14m, which works out at £270,000-a-week.
Broken down further, this sees Werner earn a staggering £38,500 every day.
There are conflicting reports on the wage structure at Chelsea, but such a hefty salary would definitely make the striker one of the best-paid players in west London.

GiveMeSport claim N'Golo Kante is the highest earner on £290,000-a-week, although other outlets suggest the Frenchman is level with Kepa Arrizabalaga on £150,000-a-week.
Either way, Werner is still in line for a huge pay increase compared to what he has been earning at Leipzig.
And the frontman is also reportedly in line to receive a bumper £10m sign-on bonus which is an impressive reward for picking the Blues.
Werner will be available to play Leipzig's final Bundesliga match of the campaign against Augsburg this weekend but has already confirmed he will not feature in the club's remaining Champions League matches.

Instead, the German ace is set to move to England as soon as possible and begin preparation for the 2020/21 season alongside his new team-mates.
As well as Werner, there are set to be a number of unfamiliar faces at Chelsea's Cobham training ground this summer as the Blues plan a squad overhaul.
A £33.4m deal for Hakim Ziyech was struck in February while manager Frank Lampard is pursuing Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell.
A new centre-back is also desired with Werner's current team-mate Dayot Upamecano one of several defenders linked.
