Gary Neville issues Premier League title warning to Liverpool with Man City prediction
Liverpool are on course to end Manchester City's dominance at the summit of the Premier League.
Gary Neville has warned Liverpool that Manchester City will give them a stern challenge for the Premier League title next season. The Merseysiders are on the brink of ending their 30-year-wait to win the league.
Jurgen Klopp's men are a staggering 25 points ahead of second-placed City, although the defending champions do have a game in hand on the Reds.
Liverpool have been in imperious form this season winning 27 of their 29 league matches and only tasting defeat once.
In stark contrast to the reigning European champions, City have won 18 matches, drawn three games and lost seven fixtures.
City's form this season is a far cry from how they performed in the 2018/19 season, in which they won 32 out of 38 matches.

We know how big (the gap) is in terms of points but I don't believe it's that big in terms of generally where the two clubs are at
The manner in which Liverpool have dominated the league this season has led many to believe Klopp's troops will continue to do so for years to come.
Neville disagrees with that notion and firmly believes Pep Guardiola's men will give the Reds a serious run for their money next season.
"We know how big (the gap) is in terms of points but I don't believe it's that big in terms of generally where the two clubs are at," Neville told The Football Show.
"We know what City have achieved the previous two seasons, it was absolutely incredible. Liverpool were catching them and getting near them and Liverpool have just had the most amazing season.
