Liverpool: Pundits discuss possible Timo Werner transfer
Jurgen Klopp sees Timo Werner as Sadio Mane's potential replacement should he leave Anfield this summer, according to reports in France. It would come as a huge surprise if Mane was to quit Liverpool at the end of the campaign, given his importance and value to his manager.

Liverpool are targeting the German regardless, as they look to bolster their attacking contingent.
Should they be unable to land the 24-year-old, the Reds will persist with their current attacking set up.
Werner has played off the left side of a front three on numerous occasions this season for RB Leipzig.
He is predominantly a striker of course, but his versatility and power makes him the ideal contender to join forces with Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.

Werner's release clause is due to expire on June 15 and is set around the £52million mark.
Should Liverpool be willing to spend that kind of money this summer in the wake of COVID-19, Werner is more likely to join forces with Mane than replace him.
Liverpool are no longer a selling club and Klopp is adamant he has made Anfield a final destination for top talent.
The board are keen for both Mane and Salah to commit their long-term futures to the club.
