Liverpool: Pundits discuss possible Timo Werner transfer
RB Leipzig urged Liverpool supporters tuning into the return of the Bundesliga to get behind Timo Werner. The forward is hot property at the moment with the Reds at the front of the queue to sign him and they had the chance to watch him in action on Saturday afternoon against Freiburg.
Ahead of the match, Leipzig, who are renowned for having fun on their social media channels, created a Twitter thread including reasons why the casual fan should support them.
Their eleventh reason was for Liverpool fans, hailing the quality of Werner.
It read: "Reason 11: @LFC-Fans
"You love Timo #Werner. So do we. Let's support him together!

Werner is believed to have a release clause in the region of £50million.
The 24-year-old has already laid on record his desire to play under Klopp.
“Yes I know that Liverpool is the best team in the moment in the world," he said earlier this year.
"When you’re linked with the team, it makes me very proud.

“In case of that, it’s a pleasure, but I know that in Liverpool play a lot of good players and I have to improve myself to learn much more things to get on this level to play there.”
RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krosche believes there's a good chance Werner could stay at the club due to the current financial climate.
“It is clear that Timo has attracted interest from other clubs for his great performances with his goals and assists,” Krosche told Sport1.
“England has the same problems as we do. The crisis affects not just one league, it has a global impact, and we cannot say whether things will be the same in six months.
“Everything is possible. We do not know how the transfer market is developing. We are looking into a very foggy glass ball.
"We do not know what our resources are and what the other clubs have in terms of opportunities.”
