Manchester United have been handed a boost in the hunt for Timo Werner.
The RB Leipzig striker is under consideration by the Red Devils, according to the Manchester Evening News, but was thought to be heading to Liverpool.
However, a move to Anfield appears to be off the cards because the Reds are going to cut back on their spending because of the coronavirus crisis, the Daily Mirror claim.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to sign a striker in the summer and Werner is one of a number of potential targets.
