Man Utd: Grealish and Sancho could cost ‘£200m’ says pundit
Manchester United target Jack Grealish’s decision to breach quarantine rules raised eyebrows at Old Trafford, reports say. However, despite that, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still wants to bring the 24-year-old to the club when the transfer window reopens this summer. The midfielder has been in fine form this season, starring amid a tricky campaign for Dean Smith’s side in the Premier League.
Grealish was forced to apologise after breaching quarantine, less than 24 hours after he’d told his Twitter followers to stay indoors.
"I just want to do a quick video message just to say how deeply embarrassed I am by about what has happened this weekend,” he said.
"I know it's a tough time for everyone at the moment being locked in doors for so long. I just got a call off a friend asking to go round to his (house) and I stupidly agreed to do so.
"I don't want anyone to make the same mistake I did so I urge everyone to stay at home and follow the rules and guidelines of what we've been asked to do.
"I know for a fact I'll be doing that in the near future now and I urge everyone to do the same. I hope everyone can I accept my apology and we can move on from this.
"Hopefully in the near future we can all be out enjoying ourselves again once this has all boiled over. Cheers guys."
