Man Utd plot mega double raid to sign Kalidou Koulibaly and another Serie A centre-back
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be set to make some major moves in the summer transfer window.
Kalidou Koulibaly shows defensive skills for Napoli in Serie A
Manchester United are not only interested in signing Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly this summer, but also reportedly want to bring in Diego Godin as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to bolster his defensive options further. United have made steady improvements under Solskjaer this season, particularly following Bruno Fernandes' arrival in the January transfer window.
But the United boss used last summer to address some much needed changes across the club's back line after signing both Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Maguire's move made him the world's most expensive defender while Wan-Bissaka also commanded a hefty price.
Both players have been ever-present in Solskjaer's starting line-up this season, helping improve their defensive frailties from years gone by.
In January it was clear Solskjaer shifted his focus into bringing in more attacking threat.

Erling Haaland was a top target but negotiations fell through due to demands from the striker's agent, Mino Raiola.
The Red Devils swiftly moved their focus to Fernandes, while Odion Ighalo was also signed on a short-term deal.
Both new signings played their part in helping United maintain an unbeaten run prior to the league being suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
When the season will restart remains uncertain as of yet but the summer transfer window opens in just a matter of months.

United are keen to continue their re-building process in trying to get back and battle at the top of the table once again.
United chief Ed Wooodward has already suggested there will be plenty of money available to Solskjaer to once again bring in new recruits.
Koulibaly remains a long-term target for the Red Devils and Napoli's stance has seemingly changed in recent months.
United had a bid rejected for Koulibaly last summer before they decided to go after Maguire, but it has been suggested a similar offer will be accepted this time around.
But according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, United are also eyeing another centre-back to join Koulibaly.
It is claimed United have their sights set on a move for Inter Milan's Godin.
The 34-year-old was signed by Antonio Conte last summer but he made just 16 Serie A appearances since his move.
It is suggested Godin would be open to the move with his wages likely being the only issue for United to manoeuvre.
To help fund moves for both players, the report states United will allow the permanent sale of Chris Smalling to Roma.
