How Liverpool could look in 2025 with Camavinga, Soumare and four other transfers
Express Sport looks at how Liverpool could line up in five years' time if they sign some of the players they have been linked with ahead of the summer transfer window.
As Liverpool go in search of domestic dominance, Jurgen Klopp will need to continue bringing in new faces to freshen up his squad. His current contract is set to run until 2024, meaning there could still be big changes to his team by the time he waves goodbye to Anfield. We take a look at how his line-up could shape up if the Reds sign some of the players they have been linked with.
Goalkeeper
Alisson is only 27 at the moment which is relatively young for a goalkeeper so he should keep his place come 2025.
Defence
In front of him, the back four will also remain with Joe Gomez partnering Virgil van Dijk.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson are still the full-backs and both have already committed their long-term futures to the Reds.
One of the real positives about this Liverpool side is that their current backline is set for the foreseeable future.

Boubakary Soumare
Surprise reports yesterday emerged in Spain, claiming that Liverpool have been in discussions with Lille over Soumare for quite sometime.
Should the European champions sign him up, he could be the heir to Fabinho's throne further down the line.
Eduardo Camavinga
This boy looks a real talent and at just 17, he will be closing in on his prime when 2025 comes around.
An all-action midfielder who operates best as a No 8, he would be one to get excited about.
Fabian Ruiz
Ruiz has world-class credentials and if Liverpool sign him this summer they could be all set in the No 10 position for up to a decade.
Klopp has toyed with the idea of an attacking midfielder but instead settled for a solid trio in the middle of the park. That could change in the next few years.

Jadon Sancho
Sancho fits Liverpool's system like a glove, but Borussia Dortmund's valuation will put them off for now.
But if Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane ever leave, Sancho will become their go-to guy. Klopp is a huge admirer and Sancho would surely jump at the chance to work under the German.
Timo Werner
It seems to be a case of when not if Werner will join Liverpool and he has already talked up a switch to Anfield.
His arrival would disrupt their current attacking set-up, but there's no question that he would be first choice once he has settled in.
Samuel Chukwueze
The Nigerian has all the attributes of a Klopp winger and at just 20 he has already shown signs of exploding into stardom.
The jet-heeled Villarreal forward has pace in abundance and can beat a man with ease. If he sharpens up his final product, the results could be frightening.
