Aston Villa ace Jota goes extra mile with coronavirus offer amid Premier League suspension
Aston Villa star Jota has joined the growing number of footballers who are using their free time to help those in need during the current coronavirus pandemic.
Aston Villa star Jota is using his free time following the suspension of Premier League matches to help his compatriots fight the coronavirus outbreak in Spain. The 28-year-old has donated food and 3,500 pairs of gloves to those dealing with the pandemic in Vigo.

He joins a growing list of current and former footballers who are trying to do what they can to help those working in the emergency services during this difficult time.
Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has opened his hotels free of charge to health workers to help with the coronavirus crisis in the UK.
Neville’s two hotels have been closed to the public in order to free up 176 beds for NHS and other medical staff.

However, the former England international insisted that none of his staff will be made redundant or asked to take unpaid leave to accommodate the decision.
"It is something we are delighted to have been able to come to an agreement with," Neville said.
"It is at this moment in time that the whole of our industry needs to show solidarity.
“Not just for our staff in these uncertain times, but for the people who need the accommodation most in the coming months.”
