How Man Utd’s attack could look next season - with two signings and forgotten man
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could have a strong attack next season with the likes of Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish, as well as forgotten man Alexis Sanchez, joins Marcus Rashford up top.
Man Utd: Jack Grealish transfer is a ‘possibility’ says Burley
Manchester United may be fighting for a Champions League spot but, with it now being March, half an eye is being cast on next season. And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eager to improve his attack, with Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa players Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish in his sights.
Manchester United have relied on Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood to step up this season when it comes to goals.
But Solskjaer is well aware his side require more if they’re to close the gap on the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.
And the United boss is expected to splash the cash at the end of the campaign, with Grealish and Sancho among his top targets.
Next season, the bulk of the Red Devils’ midfield is expected to stay the same.
David De Gea, despite his recent errors in goal, is primed to start between the sticks.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw should be first-team regulars, with Eric Bailly and Brandon Williams also getting plenty of game time.
Even if Paul Pogba goes, United won’t necessary sign a like-for-like replacement.

Bruno Fernandes can play in the middle of the park and with United eyeing Grealish, that’s expected to be his position.
Scott McTominay would be the favourite to be his midfield partner, with Fred then a more-than-capable deputy.
Therefore, it’s United’s attack that is the hardest to predict at this moment in time.
What is definite, though, is how much the Red Devils want to bring both Sancho and Grealish to Old Trafford this summer.
Sancho has been Solskjaer’s top transfer target since day one.
In the Norweigan’s eyes, the Borussia Dortmund star has the potential to become the best player in the world. He’s already one of them already.

United wanted to sign the 19-year-old last summer but a deal, without Champions League football, wasn’t feasible.
This time around they’re confident, though, and fancy their chances of beating Liverpool and Chelsea to the England international’s signature.
Should Sancho sign, he’d likely play on the right wing.
And Grealish would probably slot in at No 10, the position where he’s been at his best for Aston Villa.
Up top is where it gets trickier.

Marcus Rashford could be deployed up top, even if his best form has come on the left wing this season.
And that’s because Solskjaer has already admitted he’s willing to bring Sanchez back into the fold.
Should the Chile international return he’d be expected to play fairly often - to ramp up his value if nothing else.
And a quartet of Sancho, Grealish, Sanchez and Rashford could be the club’s frontline next term.
Obviously, that would mean Anthony Martial missing out.
But though Solskjaer is happy with the Frenchman, he’s also frustrated by just how inconsistent the 23-year-old can be.
