Liverpool: Jurgen Klopp says team ‘have to stay on track’
Watford star Ismaila Sarr could be in line for a big transfer if he can repeat his Liverpool performance on a more consistent basis, says former Manchester United midfielder Owen Hargreaves. Sarr scored twice and assisted the other as Watford shocked Liverpool by beating them 3-0 at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

“We know he’s quick and we know he’s got a big physical presence. But today in terms of end product he was outstanding.
“If he has a few more days like that, then the same way Mane left Southampton to go to Liverpool, if he plays like that against more teams then he could easily leave Watford.
“That pace and that athleticism, with the end product, that’s what every team he needs.

“But I think it’s a full team performance and a special mention has to go to Gerard Deulofeu as well, it looks like it’s going to be a bad one.
“It’s about time Ben Foster has a week off! He’s been keeping us in it for a lot of games this season. He’s getting better like a fine wine.”
But Watford boss Nigel Pearson was quick to play down Sarr’s performance and not put too much pressure on him.
“[Sarr] is a good player, a really good player, and young as well,” said Pearson.

“I’m reluctant to put too high an expectation on him, when you’ve got young players it’s important for them to enjoy their football, but his impact was very good today.
“We need to do everything we can to keep him available.
“But he played his part like everybody else, because the whole team delivered what they were picked to deliver, and that for me is what it’s about.”
