Man Utd: Solskjaer on 'consistency' following Club Brugge win
Manchester United are likely to gamble by playing Scott McTominay against Everton in their Premier League clash on Sunday. The Scotland international has just returned from injury but flourished in the victory over Club Brugge on Thursday evening.
And it’s likely that United will stick with the same team for their game against Everton at Goodison Park, with the exceptions of Odion Ighalo and David De Gea.
Ighalo scored on his first start for the Red Devils, bagging the second of the night in their Brugge battering.
But with Anthony Martial likely to be fit, the France international should be given the responsibility of leading the line.
De Gea should come back in, too, consigning Sergio Romero to the bench in the process.
Regarding Ighalo, and Solskjaer praised the Nigeria international after he opened his account for the club against Brugge.
“Odion has definitely shown what type of a striker he is. He will be ready for Sunday,” the Norwegian said.

Just last season United were thumped 4-0 by the Toffees.
And Solskjaer, speaking ahead of Sunday’s showdown, has expressed a belief that his side won’t give up like that one did.
“That was the lowest I’ve been,” Solskjaer said.
“That was a capitulation. We had absolutely nothing about us, even though their goals were more or less counterattacks from set plays and long throw-ins.
“Everything you didn’t want to see you saw in that game.

“Everton at home, they’re hard to play against with two up front. They put players in the box and we knew what we were up against.
“I’m 100% sure we’ll put up a better performance. I can with hand on heart 100% say these boys will never give in and never give up like that team did.
“These are the boys we want to build the next team around. That was the day, the lowest.
“I knew probably before then [our culture had to change] but we had to get to the summer first.”
