Barcelona are ready to cut their losses with Ousmane Dembele as the forward endures another injury hit season. The Frenchman was ruled out for six months after undergoing surgery on his hamstring earlier this month.
Dembele joined Barcelona in 2017 but has played just 51 games for the Catalans since leaving Borussia Dortmund.
The 22-year-old has scored 12 goals in La Liga but has failed to win over the Barca fans.
This poor form coupled with his injury problems has led to reports that Barcelona are willing to sell him, with Liverpool rumoured to be interested.
However, Spanish football expert Guillem Ballague has stated that Dembele is not a player for Liverpool.
He told GentingBet: "Dembele needs to go back to his level, injuries have been very serious, very, very often. He is on his third season at Barcelona I think and the stats are not fantastic.

"There were question marks about his ability to adapt to Barcelona and to be professional, and those question marks remain even though he has improved a lot on nutrition and everything else.
"He isn't a player for Liverpool but Barcelona will be open for offers in the summer."
Dembele's injury meant the Spanish side were permitted to sign an emergency replacement, in a controversial decision.
Martin Braithwaite joined the Barca for £15 million and has made one appearance so far, in the 5-0 victory over Eibar.
Braithwaite is yet to make his Champions League debut for the Catalans, who drew 1-1 with Napoli last night.

Barca went behind after Dries Mertens curled an effort into the top corner from the edge of the area, but Antoine Griezmann levelled the score midway through the second half.
Quique Setien's side struggled to break down a stubborn and well organised Napoli, which led to some players becoming frustrated.
Arturo Vidal was sent off in the dying minutes of the game for a second yellow card and will miss the return leg at the Nou Camp.
Sergio Busquets will also miss out after the Spaniard picked up his third yellow card of the tournament, leading to his suspension.
