“I think we need to take one game at a time,” he added. “In cup competition, you never know. A bad day etc.
“We take on game at a time and take as many as we can in the league.”
Meanwhile, left-back Luke Shaw reiterated his manager’s comments by insisting the squad want to push forward in every tournament.
“We’re still in two cup competitions [Europa League and FA Cup] and the league is a very high priority,” he said.

“So we got to prioritise all of them and we feel we’ve got a very good chance in both cups. Whatever we’ve got left, we want to win all of them.
“It is a massive ambition for me. I was there for the Europa League final, and the feeling, even though I wasn’t on the pitch was a feeling I have not felt and I wanted more of.
“I wasn’t involved and that is what is pushing me on even more to get into this final, and others.
“We should be in finals and we should be in all competitions until the end. We are very confident at the moment.”
