Chelsea have announced Hakim Ziyech has agreed the terms of a five-year contract at the club.
The Moroccan international will remain at Ajax for the rest of this season before making the transfer to the Blues in the summer.
On agreeing those terms, Ziyech said: “I am delighted and proud to have signed for such a huge club as Chelsea.
“I am looking forward to next season and hope we can achieve great things together.”
Jack Grealish speaks out on transfer
Jack Grealish isn't allowing himself to get carried away with seeing his name linked with some of the biggest teams around Europe. The 24-year-old has already experienced a lot for someone so young.
“Of course it’s nice,” he told the Express and Star.
“Who doesn’t like to be talked about in a nice way? But, to be honest, I try and take everything with a pinch of salt.
“I had it all five years ago when I broke through and I was getting talked about a lot.
“I was 19 years old, going online reading about myself and I couldn’t believe it.
“I was in the papers all the time and they were asking: ‘Is this the new big thing?’
“Then just one thing goes wrong and it all comes down on you like a ton of bricks.
“It is nice to read and nice to listen to, but I don’t let it get to me too much, because I know how quickly it can change.”
Virgil van Dijk to Barcelona?
Former Liverpool star Paul Ince believes Jurgen Klopp's toughest task will be keeping his squad together, as well as adding world class talent.
"Obviously it's now a question of how they get better in the future, it's tough because they've got some young exciting players who are only going to improve but football things change - we saw that with Philippe Coutinho, suddenly someone like Barcelona come in and they're off," he told the Liverpool Echo.
"It's a case of keeping the best players at Liverpool.
"Will someone come in for Van Dijk? When Barcelona or Real Madrid come knocking it's hard to say no.
"That's the thing about being a victim of your own success, when you're doing so many great things like Liverpool are doing it alerts other big club like Barcelona or Madrid.
"And it's hard to say no as a player when they come in. You look at someone like Cristiano Ronaldo, you get to the stage where you've won league and Champions League - are you prepared to do it year in year out or do you want another challenge elsewhere?
Olivier Giroud was close to Inter Milan transfer
Former Italy defender Matteo Materazzi, who was involved in the deal which was meant to take Olivier Giroud to Italy, has opened up on just how close it was.
He said: “Inter were very close. Then there was the problem of Politano and Spinazzola that blocked the situation.
“When Politano was signed by Napoli, Lazio and Tottenham were included in the race for Giroud.
“Lampard vetoed [a move to Lazio]. If you buy a player he must be average or higher, Giroud would have been the ideal purchase.”
Inter Milan want Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
Inter Milan have put Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang top of their transfer shortlist, according to reports.
Antonio Conte is also keen on Manchester United forward Anthony Martial.
Inter are looking at striker to possibly replace Lautaro Martinez in the summer with the Argentine linked with a switch to Barcelona.
And the Mirror claim Conte could look to the Premier League once again.
Timo Werner on Liverpool
Timo Werner has hailed Jurgen Klopp ‘the best coach in the world’ before claiming his style of play would suit Liverpool.
The RB Leipzig striker garnered interest from Liverpool last summer but reportedly turned down a move to Anfield as he believed he would not make it into the side’s menacing front three currently comprising of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
“Jurgen Klopp is the best coach in the world,” he told Sky Germany.
“There is a lot to suggest that my style of play would suit there (Liverpool).”
Man Utd fans want Bukayo Saka
Manchester United fans have urged the club’s hierarchy to sign Bukayo Saka after a series of impressive performances at Arsenal.
Saka rose through the ranks from the club’s reserve team in 2018 under Unai Emery and has since posed as one of the Gunners’ most exciting young talents.
One supporter considers him a “legend in the making”: “Saka with an assist again ...a legend in the making.”
Another tweeted: “Saka is decent still @ManUtd his contract in up this summer snap that up still!”
A third fan advised the young ace to run his contract and join the Red Devils: “Saka needs to run down man’s contract and join a big club like Man Utd.”
Someone else described Saka as a “baller”: “This Saka I a baller fair play. 16 month's left on his contract @ManUtd.”
Another fan kept it simple as he posted: “@ManUtd bring Saka in.”
A sixth supporter urged United to keep tabs on his development: “@ManUtd Take a Look a Saka Plis.”
And finally this supporter said: “Man Utd should try to sign Bukayo Saka as a left back... mad delivery from him.”
