Aston Villa: Grealish has 'all the ability in the world' says Mills
Manchester United will have to act quickly if they want to sign Jack Grealish in the summer transfer window as Aston Villa chiefs draw up a new contract for their talisman. Grealish has scored seven goals and provided five assists in the Premier League this season to thrust him up the list of many European heavyweights’ transfer targets.
United have ostensibly made the playmaker their top priority but Real Madrid and Barcelona are also said to be interested.
If the Red Devils want to snap up their man it would be wise to get a deal in place before the prospect of a new contract is proposed to Grealish.
That is because the Sunday Mirror claim a £60million release clause is currently in Grealish’s deal which he signed at the start of last season.
Grealish put pen to paper of the £70,000-a-week terms at the start of last season but Villa chiefs now realise they will have to pull out all the stops to convince him to stay.

If the West Midlands club are relegated to the Championship they accept Grealish will leave but, otherwise, the club is prepared to fight to keep their prized asset.
Villa owners Nassed Sawiris and Wes Edens have a combined worth of over £10billion and will use their funds to put together a startling new deal for the 24-year-old.
If Grealish leaves Villa Park he is set to demand wages north of £190,000-a-week, which will be manageable for most of Europe’s top clubs.
Villa boss Dean Smith has grown frustrated with constant reports of his star man’s future and suggested this week that the club’s hierarchy will offer their backing to help keep the club’s best players.
