Tottenham are on the verge of signing the Dutchman.

The north Londoners have agreed a £25million deal for the winger, who is reportedly in London today undergo a medical.
Berwgwijn’s seemingly imminent arrival at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium paves the way for Christian Eriksen to seal his move to Inter Milan.
The signing of Bergwijn greatly excites Van der Vaart, who believes the Netherlands international will add a different dimension to Tottenham’s game.
In response to a tweet from The Spurs Web, Van der Vaart said: “Should it all really happen, I believe that Bergwijn will certainly be a great signing for Spurs.

I believe that Bergwijn will certainly be a great signing for Spurs.
"Obviously he will have to adjust to the PL pace and ambience but his speed, technique and strength will certainly add something to the Spurs game.”
Van der Vaart’s hailing of Bergwijn comes after the forward dismissed suggestions he’s forced through a move to Spurs by refusing to play for PSV.
"Good evening PSV fans. A lot was said about me, I’ve read all of it and I’m disappointed with how this went down," Bergwijn said on Instagram.
"None of it is true, I never refused to play for PSV and I would never do so in the future.

Should Bergwijn complete his move to Tottenham’s he’ll become the club’s first signing of the January transfer window.
Spurs, however, are in the market for a new striker following the serious hamstring injury Harry Kane suffered earlier this month.

It’s understood Jose Mourinho is currently scouring the market for a deputy for the England international, with recent reports claiming he’s inquired about signing Lyon’s Moussa Dembele.
Tottenham will be back in action on Sunday afternoon, welcoming defending Premier League champions Manchester City to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
