Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen will reportedly undergo a medical with Inter Milan on Monday, it has been said. The midfielder’s future with the north Londoners has been up in the air since last June when he admitted he wanted to undertake a new challenge.

Pedulla also claims Inter will pay Tottenham £17million ($20million) to acquire Eriksen’s services, with a deal expected to be announced on Monday or Tuesday.
News of Eriksen’s imminent medical comes a few days after the midfielder reportedly told Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy he intends to leave the club this month.
Spurs’ manager Jose Mourinho dismissed that notion earlier this week, saying: “Eriksen will be called up tomorrow, there is no news.”
Mourinho would like to retain Eriksen’s services but respects his decision to move on to pastures news.

The Portuguese expressed his desire for Tottenham fans to follow suit after their 2-1 win over Middlesbrough earlier this month, saying: “Christian played very well.
"Very professional. What I expect from him. If his decision is to leave, he has to leave with his head up. Fans have always to respect."
Tottenham will be back in action on Saturday, travelling to St. Mary’s to take on Southampton in the fourth round of the FA Cup - a match which could prove to be Eriksen’s last for the club.
Inter, meanwhile, will welcome Cagliari to the San Siro on Sunday morning.
