Gosens has seen his value dramatically rise over the past three years, after he was signed from Dutch side Heracles Almelo in 2017, in an £810,000 deal.
He’s started 16 of Atalanta’s 20 Serie A matches this season, operating in a wing-back position.
The German has an exemplary goalscoring record, having already bagged seven goals this season in the league.
Atalanta have continued their good form this season, and are once again battling for a place in next season’s Champions League.

They’re currently fifth in Serie A, and are just three points behind fourth-placed Roma.
Gosens will be hoping to make his mark again in February when Atalanta take on Valencia in the Champions League round of 16.
Gosens has played a big part in the club’s rise in recent years.

“He’s a great player; I played against him and I always loved his mentality and attitude, and obviously his goalscoring record speaks for itself,” said Lampard.
“I’m not absolutely aware of what the situation is, so we’ll see. He’s an experienced player, but so are many other players out there.
“I think we are young, and we know about the transitions. The idea of bringing in experience is something I’m certainly not absolutely looking away from.
“Because sometimes the young players need a little bit of help, and if that’s the case then that may help us.”
