Swansea face probe
SWANSEA will face a Football Association of Wales inquiry after their Carling Cup defeat against Scunthorpe.
The second round tie was halted by referee James Linington when Swansea were reduced to six men after three players had been dismissed, and two went off injured. A match must be called off if a team is reduced to fewer than seven players.
Swansea had Garry Monk, Gorka Pintado and Angel Rangel sent off. Stephen Dobbie was carried off with a rib injury and Besian Idrizaj suffered a knee problem but hobbled back on.
