Havertz could have left Leverkusen last summer but opted to stay because of Champions League football.
However, his attitude is said to have changed now though and he could look for an exit with the Premier League runaway leaders interested in his signature.
Liverpool are keen to bring in Havertz with Adam Lallana likely to quit Anfield this summer in a search for more first-team football.

“I think Leverkusen will get the money, simply because so many clubs want him.”
Honigstein also believes Chelsea are in the running to sign the starlet as well as Liverpool and United.
“It’s not easy to call [where Havertz will move] because of the sheer number of clubs that are exciting to him and in need of that kind of player,” Honigstein added.
He explained: “The two clubs mentioned earlier, Chelsea and Man United, I have on very good authority have been tracking him very closely.

“Why wouldn’t you? This is a guy who in a few years to come I think will be the outstanding Germany player and if you can get him now, you will try your best to do it.
“But the competition will not make it easy for any of the clubs who eventually get him.”
The transfer window shuts on Friday, January 31 at 11pm in the UK.
