Liverpool fans go wild over viral photo of Jurgen Klopp on touchline in Club World Cup win
Jurgen Klopp was animated as ever on the touchline as Liverpool advanced to the Club World Cup final after beating Monterrey.
Liverpool: Klopp slams Champions League fixture schedule
Liverpool needed a stoppage-time winner from Roberto Firmino against Monterrey to book their place in the Club World Cup final, but there was one moment from Jurgen Klopp during the game which had Reds fans in stitches. It was far from a straight-forward contest for the reigning Champions League winners with Funes Mori equalising minutes after Naby Keita had given Liverpool an early lead.
The Mexican side frustrated the Reds, dominated large parts of the game and could have taken the lead on multiple occasions.
But Firmino provided the finishing touch in stoppage time after pouncing on a perfectly placed low-cross from Alexander-Arnold as Liverpool avoided the upset.
However, there was another big moment in the game which arguably attracted even more interest on social media.
Klopp is known for being animated on the touchline, letting his emotions pour out in a manner which has further endeared him to football fans worldwide.

And he was pictured during a furious altercation with Monterrey boss Antonio Mohamed which resulted in both managers being shown a yellow card.
The quarrel started after Mohamed gestured towards the official to show Joe Gomez a second yellow card, something Klopp took serious exception too.
The Liverpool boss left his technical area and begun mocking Mohamed by copying the gesture while sticking his tongue out and wagging his hand in the air.
The photo soon did the rounds on social media, with Liverpool fans taking to Twitter to share their love for Klopp’s hilarious expression.
