“I’ve met supporters who have been watching the club for 60-odd years.
“They’re so inspiring talking about this being the best football they’ve seen of a Leicester City team and they’ve not missed a game for years.
“That always drives you on and gives you extra motivation that they’re enjoying what they’re seeing.
“It’s my responsibility to try to ensure they feel that happiness. I’ve got a real motivation.”
Rodgers has drawn plaudits for the work he’s done at Leicester over the past 10 months.
The Foxes are currently second in the Premier League, after 15 matches.

James Maddison has been linked with a move to Manchester United, while Ben Chilwell could be on the move to Chelsea or Manchester City.
Rodgers is hoping that his vision will help to keep his players at the club.
“Hopefully they’ll see how we’ve worked together here and the ambition I have for the club, will make them think in terms of where we want to go,” he said.
“This is a club with big ambition, that’s why I’ve committed for such a long period, and once they’re here, they will hopefully feel that ambition and see the progress.”
