Unai Emery: Arsenal’s potential replacements as coach sacked
Jamie Carragher has had his say on whether Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers should jump ship for Arsenal, with his former manager closely linked with the job at the Emirates Stadium following the sacking of Unai Emery.
The Northern Irishman is one of several contenders for the job having guided Leicester into second place in style.
And after Rodgers oversaw another win for the Foxes today against Everton, Carragher was asked about what the former Liverpool boss may think about potential moving to Arsenal.
"I think the position he is in, there is no doubt you want to get right to the top," he told Sky Sports.
"Leicester are second now but they aren't one of the top clubs in the league.
"I don't think it is right if he is even thinking about moving to Arsenal right now.

"He got a lot of stick when he left Celtic before the end of last season, which was a tough decision for him.
"If he moved now, he would get that tag of jumping ship very quickly.
“He has got to look at the next 18 months and think he is going to do something with Leicester.
"He will at one stage want to go to one of those big clubs."
After his side clinched all three points in stoppage time against the Toffees courtesy of Kelechi Iheanacho and VAR, Rodgers bizarrely revealed that he does in fact have a release clause in his Leicester contract.
