Benjamin Mendy has been rotated with Angelino in recent weeks, while Zinchenko recovers from injury.
Angelino was named in the starting XI on Tuesday, in City’s Champions League tie against Shakhtar Donetsk, hinting that Guardiola may opt to use a fresher Mendy this afternoon.
In midfield, Rodri has proven to be a big success for City this season, after his summer arrival.
He’ll likely be used as a holding midfielder against Newcastle, with Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva slightly ahead of him.
