If he doesn’t make the Champions League then I don’t think his future is at Arsenal
Ray Parlour on Arsenal boss Unai Emery
Arsenal have finished outside the top four for three consecutive seasons and currently sit six points outside of it, but they can also qualify for the Champions League by winning the Europa League.
They made the final of that competition last season, only to lose 4-1 to Maurizio Sarri's Chelsea in Baku.
Parlour says things must improve defensively but does not think the Arsenal board will axe Emery until the end of the season at the earliest.
“I think they will stick with Emery for now. Yeah [until the end of the season], I really do,” he told talkSPORT.

“They’re going to give him an opportunity, they’ll still look at the Europa League [as a way to qualify for the Champions League] because they got to the final last year.
“[But] if he doesn’t make the Champions League then I don’t think his future is at Arsenal.
“The biggest question mark is whether they can or not, that is the big question mark. At the moment with the way they’re playing, they’re nowhere near the top four.
