UEFA were left confused last week with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp’s complaints as he no-showed an important meeting where he could have raised those issues.
According to the Daily Mail, Klopp called for governing bodies to meet with leading managers in world football to address the “crazy” demands on international players and their fixture schedules.
However, it was pointed out by puzzled UEFA officials that the German boss didn’t attend the Elite Club Coaches Forum last year, which would have made for the perfect platform to discuss such an issue.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss is also not expected to be present at this year’s meeting a week on Monday.
However, it is claimed that Klopp will be more than welcome to attend the event, where UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin will be present, if he changes his mind.
At a previous meeting, former Manchester United and Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho took a dig at Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, who was absent.
Mourinho is believed to have openly said: “Where is he?”

The Reds are on top of the Premier League table, six points ahead of title rivals City.
The Premier League leaders and Guardiola’s side will collide on Sunday at Anfield (4.30pm) in a match that could have major implications to the title race.
However, Klopp claims he hasn’t thought about the weekend’s showdown as he is now focused on Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Genk after the team’s last-gasp 2-1 win over Aston Villa.
