Kante has only started three Premier League matches for Chelsea this season, having been forced out through injury on three separate occasions.
He picked up a sprained ankle at the end of August that kept him out for three weeks.
Kante has also been recovering from a reoccurring hamstring problem, which saw him miss the last three league matches.
The France international also missed Chelsea’s 1-0 win away at Ajax last month.

The return of Kante could mean that either Jorginho or Mateo Kovacic are given a rest in central midfield.
Lampard wanted to rest them both for the Carabao Cup tie against Manchester United last week, but was forced to play them both.
Chelsea are top of their group in the Champions League, after a stunning 1-0 win at Ajax last month.

A win for Lampard’s side would go a long way to securing their place in the Round of 16, with ties against Valencia and Lille still to come.
The Blues then host Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Saturday (12.30pm).
After the international break, Chelsea head to the Etihad Stadium to take on the champions Manchester City in the Premier League.
Their penultimate Champions League group match against Valencia takes place on November 27 (5.55pm).
