Celtic: Neil Lennon praises his 'magnificent' players
Celtic fans have slammed Neil Lennon for his tactical decisions during the Hoops’ 1-1 draw against Hibernian.
Lennon’s side went 1-0 down early on at Easter Road, and while Ryan Christie equalised in the first-half, Celtic failed to find a winner, despite having the lion’s share of chances.
Fans weren’t happy with Lennon after the match, after he decided to replace Odsonne Edouard and Olivier Ntcham in the second-half, when they needed a goal.
Midfielder Jonny Hayes and forward Vakoun Issouf Bayo came on to replace them, and supporters disagreed with Lennon’s choices.
“A word of advice to Neil Lennon, stop playing guys out of position to accommodate other players, pick 3 midfielders and two wingers,” tweeted one Celtic fan.
Another supporter said: “Neil Lennon is a f***ing genius leagues won so let hibs think they can challenge us so they go in to the semi final over confident and then we run riot."
“Need a goal and you take off the best striker in the country, poor from Neil Lennon today, two penalties denied, still unbeaten,” added another fan.
One Hoops supporter simply tweeted: “That was an absolute shambles by Neil Lennon.”

Another Twitter user said: “I don’t know what was worse about that game… The officiating or Neil Lennon’s substitutions.
“He replaced his best striker who had little to no service the whole game & brings on Jonny Hayes instead of Sinclair or El Younoussi.”
“Neil Lennon seems to have runs of form like a player,” joked one fan.
“Got everything right for weeks now and then today puts Hayes on for Ntcham and takes off Edouard when a goal is needed. Baffling stuff.”
